Wat Karuna
This temple is located near to the Chao Phraya Dam. It enshrines a Buddha image, Phra Phuttha Maha Sila or Luang Phaw Hin Yai as it is known locally.

Wat Thanmamun
This temple is located at the foot of Thanmamun Hill, on the bank of the Chao Phraya, about 8 km from town. The temple was founded during the Ayutthaya period and enshrines a highly revered Buddha image, Luang Pho Thammachak, which is in the attitude of 'peace'. Annual Fair

Chai Nat Muni National Museum
The museum is located within the grounds of Wat Boromathat. The museum has a small display of various artefacts found within the province. It contains numerous Buddha images, depicted in varying attitudes, along with a mixture of Thai and chinese ceramics. It also has a collection of votive tablets.

Straw Bird Fair
The fair takes place at the beginning of February. The locals make various birds of varying size from the straw, which is a by-product from rice farming. The birds are 'perched' on decorated floats and paraded through town. At the end of the procession thay are displayed in front of the town hall.
