Phra Samut Chedi
This temple is more commonly known as "Phra Chedi Klang Nam', referring to its original site on an island in the middle of the river. It is now located close to the river bank, opposite the Provincial Hall. Construction begun during the reign of King Rama II in 1826 and was completed during the reign of King Rama III.

Phra Chulachomklao Fortress
This naval fortress was built by King Rama V in 1893. The fortress's cannons were once used to sink a French warship, which had invaded Thai waters. The fortress is still intact and be visited, although a permit is required from the Public Relations Section of the Royal Thai Navy.

The Ancient City
This park was developed in the early 1970's and represents the nations most famous monuments in miniatures. For visitors unable to travel the country extensively the park offers the chance to learn more about the aspects of Thai culture. From the entrance of the park, which represents the south of Thailand, visitors can "travel" the country and view the more than 100 monuments.

Crocodile Farm
Located about 3 km from the centre of town, this crocodile farm claims to be the worlds largest. There are thousands of crocodiles, as well as elephants, snakes and monkeys. There are daily shows of crocodile wrestling.
